Hello & Welcome

Hello! I'm Kaylee, the owner of South Cowichan Foot Care and a Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for helping people stay comfortable, active, and independent.

 

Over the years, I've had the privilege of caring for people in a variety of healthcare settings, gaining experience with everything from acute and complex medical care to community nursing. Throughout my nursing career, I've developed a special interest in caring for older adults and individuals living with dementia. I understand that every client has unique needs, and I strive to provide care with patience, dignity, compassion, and respect.

In 2024, I completed my Advanced Foot Care Nursing certification and founded South Cowichan Foot Care with a simple goal: to provide accessible, professional nursing foot care that helps people maintain their mobility, independence, and quality of life. Whether I'm visiting clients in their homes or welcoming them to my Duncan clinic, I believe every appointment should be relaxed, unhurried, and centred around the individual.

Having grown up in the Cowichan Valley, this community has always been home. It has shaped who I am, and I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back by caring for the people who live here. Building lasting relationships with my clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I consider it a privilege to support them in maintaining their health and independence.

 

When I'm not caring for clients, you'll usually find me enjoying life on my family farm, tending to the garden, spending time with my animals, or exploring everything our beautiful Cowichan Valley has to offer. Caring for others—whether in my work or in my community—is at the heart of who I am, and I look forward to meeting you.
